Released for the Model 3 arcade system, Power Edition is the updated version of Daytona USA 2: Battle on the Edge.

Hidden Dreamcast Logos
On the final turn of the Advanced Course, you normally see a normal hedge wall where a Gameworks logo was in Battle on the Edge. However, in an emulator with certain graphics set-ups (low enough to force graphics clipping) you can see a familiar orange spiral clipping through the hedge. This Dreamcast logo disappears as you approach it, first the white background and then the spiral itself. This graphic also appears in the Extra course. Also, in the front straightaway of the beginner's course, if you look closely on top of one of the garages, you can see a billboard that says 'SEGA Dreamcast Cup Series.' This game was released just after the Dreamcast's Japanese release, so perhaps they were merely meant as advertising or may have been a hint at a console release.

Astro Waterfall Speedway
A small bush and a palm tree leaf from Battle On The Edge's Beginner Course can still be found within the texture cache of Power Edition. The textures go unused, as the Beginner Course was changed into Sega International Speedway.
Chums Gum
Aside from the Chums Gum billboard in the Beginner Course, there are still some leftover Chums Gum graphics that go unused due to the designated Easy Level Car being rebranded to 'J.C. Eagle.'

Daytona Usa 2 Power Edition
In Battle on the Edge, audio files related to the aforementioned Chums Gum, Astro Waterfall Speedway, and the Hornet car (as a previously-secret vehicle) can still be heard in Power Edition's Sound Test. In the game's Live Mode, the announcer will still call the Beginner Course (Sega International Speedway) as 'Forest Dome' and the Easy Level Car (J.C. Eagle) as Chums Gum.
