If you would rather manually toggle Do Not Disturb on and off, you can do so via the Mac Notification Center. Click the Notification Center icon in the menu bar (it looks like three bullet points) or swipe with two fingers to the left, starting just off the right edge of the Mac trackpad. May 14, 2015 Notification Center’s Do Not Disturb mode is best used with a proper time-based schedule, found in System Preferences Notifications Do Not Disturb, but for those who only need to use the feature occasionally, or for an unusual event like a presentation, Do Not Disturb can be easily enabled or disabled with just an Option-Click.

1. Settings
2. Do not disturb
3. Do not disturb while driving
On the other hand, it does not work. I am driving, get a text and sender does not get my do not disturb while driving message.
Is there any additional settings that needs to be enabled for this to work, like location? I do limit location services to just a few applications, like Maps, Compass, etc., that actually need it.
PS: Yes, I would add an image for this setting, but the forum does not let me. Getting the Forum message of 'You do not have permission to perform this function...'
